The mission of Learning Forward Colorado is to ensure that all educators in all schools experience high-quality professional learning as part of their daily work for the purpose of increasing student achievement. In order to achieve our mission we operate under the umbrella of a Strategic Leadership Plan (pdf). Our work is carried out through four action teams:

Communications Action Team

The goal of the Communications Team is to increase awareness of and participation in the professional learning opportunities provided by Learning Forward Colorado.

The goal of the Policy Team is to be the voice of professional development in terms of federal, state, and district policy.

Professional Learning Action Team

The goal of the Professional Learning Team is to be a voice for quality professional learning and to influence quality professional learning across the state of Colorado by informing, advocating, networking, modeling, promoting, and leading through all Learning Forward Colorado professional learning efforts.
