Models for Data Dialogue

Educators from around the state participated in this excellent learning event focused on models for data dialogue. Cindy Harrison & Chris Bryan presented information about 5 different types of data conversations. Participants explored the purpose, data sources, and focus of each of these conversations. The culture necessary for successful use of data was discussed, as well as the roles for administrators, teacher leaders, and coaches. Participants were given a variety of templates, their purposes, uses, and potential challenges. Networking and interactive activities were integrated into the morning so that there were lots of opportunities to learn with colleagues from around the state.

Some comments from participants include …

  • This information fits perfectly with our next steps.
  • I have many ideas to take back with me. Thanks!
  • It would have been beneficial to have my principal with me.
  • I plan to work with colleagues to create a template that works for us based on those presented.

Thanks, Cindy and Chris! This was a great workshop!
