Leadership Forum #2

A huge "thank you" to Tina Kerschen for providing an outstanding second Leadership Forum on November 18th, Working with Schools for Success. Tina comes with outstanding credentials, including that of School and District Review Team Leader. She provided participants with information about CDE's School Support Team (SST) process by exploring key aspects of the just-released 2008 SST rubric. She also reviewed the "before, during and after" processes of a school review, and engaged participants in a discussion of the kind of follow-up support that is making a difference for schools.

Those who attended the second Leadership Forum walked away with materials and strategies that they could immediately use. Participant comments included things like "this event was very useful ... Tina was inspirational ... I know where I can use some specific things in my work tomorrow".
